Durbin serves breakfast every day.  If your child wants to eat breakfast, you can let the bus driver know to let them off the bus early.  Cost is $1.25; lunch is $2.70.  If the student is a car rider, they can enter building at 8:35 a.m. for breakfast.

Dismissal is at 3:40 p.m.  (Every Monday, students are dismissed at 3:20 p.m.).  Students shall ride the bus home unless office/teacher/School Dismissal Manager receive a note stating otherwise.  Before first day of school, please log into School Dismissal Manager and set up their default (the way they are usually getting home).   You should choose a bus number, child care bus, YMCA, or car rider as one of their choices to get home.  Teachers will be monitoring the arrival and dismissal of students.  Do not drop off anyone without a teacher present.  Also, there is to be no walking between the buses.

SCHOOL DISMISSAL MANAGER IS THE PREFERRED METHOD OF NOTIFYING THE SCHOOL OF TRANSPORTATION CHANGES.  If there is a transportation change during the day, please use School Dismissal Manager before 2 p.m.

If parents take child out early for doctor appointments or arrive late from a doctor appointment, these absences count against perfect attendance.  PERFECT ATTENDANCE is when they do not miss any class all year.

If students miss school due to illness, please supply office with a doctor’s note.  Students are allowed to miss 8 days per semester (excused or unexcused) without any consequence.  After 8, you will need to provide a doctor’s note.

Parents need their IDs to pick up and sign their child out.  No ID is needed to sign your child in.
